"Secure Communities" is a recent buzz word signifying program with an initiative to improve the safety of our neighborhoods. With this program beginning in Texas in 2008, 17 States' county jails are currently using the database A long overdue yet important step in this procedure is to reduce the crime related to illegal illegal immigrant activity. Several jails in Utah have already begun taking action. So far, Davis County, Salt Lake County and Utah County are the first to be on-board with this new program. In one week alone, Salt Lake County was able to identify 30 illegal immigrants when they were booked into the jails. As to the Northern Utah areas...
