This trailhead begins at Tony Grove Lake.  Parking in the Tony Grove area amounts to a small fee.  The Tony Grove Nature Trail is 1.3 miles around the lake.  The White Pine Lake Trail is easy to follow.  You will eventually climb a ridge that divides Tony Grove Lake and White Pine Lake. This trail has a sudden drop down to White Pine Lake.  The whole trail is 4.5 miles in length.  The trip has some beautiful trees along the way.  You will see many fir, spruce, and aspen.  There are also many wildflowers to catch the eye.  A great time to hike this trail is in July and August because the colors will stand out on these wildflowers.
